To properly transfer ownership, you must sign the back of the Certificate of Title. You need to print your name and sign it exactly as it appears on the front. You must also enter the buyer's name and address in the designated section. Be sure to have your signature notarized, as Arizona law requires a notary to witness the seller's signature on the title.
If your title is lost, you must apply for a duplicate title from the ADOT MVD before you can sell the car.
