To transfer ownership, you must complete the back of your Certificate of Title. You need to:
Sign your name as the seller (all registered owners must sign if their names are joined by "and").
Print your name.
Enter the buyer's full legal name and address.
Fill in the date of the sale.
Enter the odometer reading (required for vehicles under 20 years old).
Do not use white-out or erase mistakes. Any alterations will void the title. If you make a mistake, do not cross it out; you will likely need to apply for a replacement title before completing the sale.
